Dave Doeren, now in his fourth decade of coaching, has built NC State’s football program around a team-first philosophy, captured in his "1Pack 1Goal" mantra introduced in 2012. Known for developing tough, hardworking players, Doeren has become the winningest coach in school history with 87 victories. He holds the second-longest tenure in the ACC and sixth-longest in the FBS, leading NC State to at least eight wins in six of the last eight seasons, including four nine-win campaigns. Since 2020, the Wolfpack ranks second in the ACC in both overall (40) and conference wins (26), and 10 of his 12 teams have reached postseason bowls—a program-best
